Olympus OM-D E-M1X Race Photography Course

Sign yourself up for our very exciting Race Photography Course! We are partnering up with Olympus to get you saddled up with some demo gear, trained on the ins and outs of race photography, and get you out shooting at Richmond International Raceway for some on-track experience! Olympus will host the training session October 5th, 5-6pm at our Carytown location. We’ll be going over how to operate the camera’s subject tracking and AF features for optimal race photography results. On October 6th, we’ll be meeting at RIR and putting what we learned into action! We’ll meet at 10am, and racing begins at 10:45am.

Please note: Participants must have their own transportation to get to RIR October 6th. Racetracks are dangerous environments. Safety is of the utmost importance. We will be going over safety procedures both days to ensure everyone is prepared for the shoot day and a waiver must be signed by all who wish to participate. Visibility vests will be provided for all participants. Visibility vests will be provided for all participants. Participants MUST arrive at or before 10am to be present for a mandatory safety meeting with RIR in order to shoot that day.
